Clubs at South Park

Throughout the year, we often have different clubs that are sponsored by parents. If you are interested in starting a club, please speak directly with Carmen and let the PAC know!

Art Club - Currently on hold

Art Club will run on TUESDAYS, beginning on Sep. 18th, throughout the fall. It will be held in the gym from 3:15 - 4:30.

The idea for art club is that it will be semi-organized and lead by one or more parents on a volunteer basis. The focus of the class will change based on the volunteer parent leading the class, but could include two-point perspective, cartoon-drawing techniques, felting, etc. Art club is open to all students, but students in grades 2-5 may be best suited.

If you're interested in dropping in with your kid(s), no need to RSVP or sign up. Just show up.

If you are interested in leading the class, please contact project lead Jeremy Caradonna!

Board Game Afternoons - Currently on hold

Join Mark and Bobby as they host regular board game afternoons!

These wonderful and fun days will be hosted in the South Park Library on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each Month. Due to limited capacity in the library, we have to split the groups up to maximize the number of children who can participate. Therefore, the first Friday will be for grades K-2 and the 3rd Friday will be for grades 3-5.

Parents are expected to be there with their children and to help us keep the library tidier than we found it! Please also ensure not to send an afternoon snack with your child that contains allergens as these can’t be consumed in the library (nuts and fish).

The school owns about 25 games which the children will be able to use, they are also welcome to bring their own. At this time parents will also be able to check out a game for the weekend.
