Tori Escallier, Chair
Tori and her crew have been members of South Park Family School since 2017 – with her youngest heading into grade one in Fall 2024.
She is passionate about strengthening the intersection of family, community, and education. In her work life, she advocates and builds programs for family school engagement and health equity.
Tori also likes to run up mountains, camp with her sweet family, and read books that teach her new tricks.
Kris Campbell, Vice Chair - Coordinators
Kristina (Kris) has been part of the South Park community since 2016 and has loved seeing her two kids grow into engaged, confident learners. She has helped with many South Park activities over the years, from the Emporium to this year's Grade 5 Snack Shack.
Kris works as a science writer and is passionate about science as a way for kids to know the world around them. She enjoys music of all kinds and discovering new places to eat in Victoria
Adam Haigler, Vice Chair - Committees
Adam joined the South Park community last year; his youngest child is in grade 2 this year.
Adam loves supporting schools in their journeys towards learner-centred innovation, which is what he does for work. He is delighted by the interesting ways students learn at South Park and is happy to join the team!
Outside of work, Adam is an outdoors enthusiast who regularly nudges his family towards wacky adventures. He also likes travelling and playing ukulele, sometimes even at the same time.
Allison Haigler, Secretary
Allison's family joined South Park in 2023. She has worked as an educator for a number of years and loves connecting people with nature, culture, and community. Most recently, she has been a garden and craft educator on a homestead in rural South Appalachia.
Allison currently works as a website designer (BarnacleWebDesign.com). She loves the woods, beaches, and making things with her hands.
Jenn Turnbull-Aherne, Member at large
Jenn has been a parent at South Park Family School since 2010 and will be here until 2026. She works at Island Health, and in her free time enjoys advocating for students with disabilities, everything outdoors, family time, sewing, and thrift shopping.
Iain McBride, Co-Treasurer
The McBride clan has been part of the school since 2018, now with two children attending SPFS. Iain is an advocate for increased parent/community engagement and enhancement of the educational programs of the South Park Family School. With a background in managing small business and training in accounting he has retained the ability to balance a cheque book.
Iain has served as a SPFS PAC Co-Treasurer since 2021.
Kerianne Taves, Member at Large
Kerianne is a parent of two SPFS children. Kerianne has been a Class Coordinator for 2 years and Vice Chair of Committees for 3 years. When she is not at the school socializing, she is teaching art to kids and squeezing in as much reading and beach time as possible.

Amanda Allen, Member at Large
Our family came to this school in 2016. Isaac started in outdoor kindergarten and graduated last year. Natasha joined the class at 2 weeks of age and we are so happy to have her follow in his footsteps at South Park.I have worked in healthcare for 9 years and recently moved into the public sector. Our family loves to travel, spend time looking for creatures at the beach and eating chips! I love organizing, decluttering and creating coziness.
Matthew Linnitt, Member at Large
Matt arrived at Southpark in 2022 after returning to Victoria from the Comox Valley.
Matthew works as a Helicopter Pilot at Helijet, loves literature, soccer, disc golf and dance parties.
