This is truly one of the finest events at South Park as the parents come together to show our appreciation to the teachers and staff for all the hard work and dedication they have to our kids.
The PAC sets up a beautiful potluck and dining area for the staff and food is provided by the parents of each division. Parents serve the staff and much fun is had!
Volunteer: Volunteers from each division will be solicited by their Class Coordinators to bring a side/salad, a main, and a drink/dessert. Volunteers are also needed to supervise the children during the lunch hour from 12:00-1:00 so the staff can enjoy their feast. Help with set up and take down are also needed.

The teacher librarian works with a local bookstore to have a select group of books brought to the school, where they can be purchased by parents or friends of the school at a discounted price to be donated to the library. There is a sticker nameplate, with a message space, that can be added to the inside front cover.
This is the night the community comes together to have fun! It is a ticketed ($10), adult only event, with amazing hor d'oeuvres, live music, and a cash bar.
Parents solicit donations from the community, or donate goods or services of their own, which provides a wonderful array of live and silent auction items to be bid on! It is one of the funnest nights of the year!
The Auction Gala is the PAC's biggest fundraiser for the year. It is because of the dedication of the parents who organize, and those who attend and bid on our amazing offerings, that we can fund our PAC budget each year.
Check out the auction facebook page for all the details needed to get your donations in!

It’s EMPORIUM! One of the most magical days of the year for the kids.
The kids will get the chance to shop for their family and friends during the school day and the doors will open to parents after school.
Please remember to support your child to have their gift tags ready and send bags along to help carry the gifts that will come home!
All gifts will be priced at $1.00.
Come raise some money for the school library while you purchase the books you and your family love. Use this time to buy things for yourself or to even start your holiday shopping early!
Russell Books, an amazing Victoria bookstore, will supply a great selection of books, and if you want something but don’t see it, ask and we’ll see if it can be brought over!
This is also a wonderful opportunity to support your child’s classroom , as teachers will choose a number of books they wish to have in the class. These books will be put aside in a marked area where families can buy the book to donate to the class!
You can order books through the Book Sale website (https://bookfair.russellbooks.com/) or shop in-store.
At checkout, please select South Park from the drop down menu
If buying in-store, please let your cashier know that you'd like your purchase applied to the South Park Book Sale
Note: A portion of Russell's proceeds is donated to the school. Only purchases made through the Book Fair website or in-store are eligible for the school credit. The standard website does not allow you to direct proceeds to South Park.
Shipping: If purchasing through the Book Fair site, you can have books shipped to the school for distribution. Purchases of $75 or more are also eligible for free shipping directly to your home. Books should be delivered in 5-10 business days.
Get in touch if you have any questions! Happy reading

Three times per year, the families of each division come together in the classroom to meet with the teacher and other parents. These meetings are to bring the classroom "family" together where the teacher will share information about what is happening in the classroom. Information that is important to families will be discussed.
Each family is expected to send at least one representative. OSC childcare is provided for free for families to attend, and is funded by the PAC.
Classroom coordinators will also share information about the PAC and will take issues important to the families back to the PAC.
Meetings are typically held in September, January, and April. These dates are tentatively set by June each year. However, teachers do not sign up their individual divisions until a couple weeks before the meeting date.
If you are unable to attend your division's family meeting, please let your CC and teacher know. One member of the division will be responsible for taking minutes and these will be distributed by your CC for reference.
Join us for the South Park PAC Annual Family Picnic. Bring a blanket, plates, cutlery, and food for your family.
Come mingle and catch up!
