Grades 3 and up are invited to take in a night of Opera!

Opera Night - Fidelio! Pacific Opera Victoria generously invites Victoria students to attend their dress rehearsal performance of their mainstage opera series. This is an exciting chance for our students to attend a professional opera at a fraction of the cost.  The next opera night is Tuesday, October 9 at the Royal Theatre. The opera is Fidelio by Beethoven.  This is a late night – children meet at 6:30 pm at the Royal Theatre, corner of Broughton and Blanshard and pick-up will be approximately 9:45 pm. Typically, this experience is most suitable for our grade three to fives, although younger children have attended.The cost is $15 per child.

Unfortunately, there are no more tickets available, but look for the next Opera night announcement for February 12, 2019 coming in the New Year.

There are sometimes limited number of parent chaperone seats, which will be assigned by lottery. Interested parents may put their name on the parent ‘wish-list,’ and will be notified if they get lucky! No child will be denied educational opportunities due to financial hardship.
